Top Sleep Training Tips!
❗️Below are my TOP tips to make your sleep training journey as smooth as possible❗️
⚡️Start when you are READY and COMMITTED to being consistent. This means you have;
➔ a plan
➔your partner/household members are on board
➔ you have around 2 weeks where you can focus on the process.
⚡️You are following an age appropriate schedule to set them up for success! Without an age appropriate routine, you can not expect your child to have improvement in their sleep.

⚡️Allow for a 11-12 hour bedtime window. Have a relaxing and predictable bedtime routine.
⚡️If baby has a feed before bedtime, move it to the beginning of their bedtime routine.
⚡️Placing baby down awake is a huge factor in them learning how to fall back asleep when they wake overnight.
⚡️Have a predictable bedtime routine! UItra-predictable during sleep training! Children, babies included, are ALWAYS looking for predictable patterns. Predictability=security.
⚡️Pick a sleep training method that works for you and your family! There are many ways to sleep train!
⚡️Provide them with a proper sleep space that is conducive for sleep! This looks like:
➔ a safe sleep space, a dark room, white noise, making sure they're hitting their correct sleep windows
⚡️Most importantly, have confidence in yourself and your child. The attachment you have built with your child has developed over their life and will only be improved when a child and parent are RESTED and THRIVING!!
